Checking oil temperature

Ignition on.

Go into scrolling values.

Read off transmission oil temperature.

Check that the transmission oil temperature is within its permitted range. Compare with the temperature of the transmission itself.

Checking oil temperature sensor signal cable

Ignition off.

Disconnect gray 2-pin transmission connector. For further information about connectors, seeru-RU0900c8af80441937#KC01406040.

Connect an ohmmeter between the gray 2-pin transmission connector terminal 2 (transmission side) and transmission housing.

Checking oil temperature sensor resistance

Gray 2-pin transmission connector disconnected.

Connect an ohmmeter between the gray 2-pin transmission connector terminals 1 and 2 (transmission side).

Checking the transmission

Install gray 2-pin transmission connector.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) may have been caused by the transmission being subjected to high loads and high temperatures. Therefore it is important to change the oil and check the operation of the transmission.

Change oil according toru-RU0900c8af80442c03#KC01411728.

Test-drive the car as described inru-RU0900c8af80919d9c#KC01627329, to check that there arenomechanical faults.
